	Wayne M. Lenell, CPA, Ph.D. Dr. Lenell is a well known author and speaker on topics related to accounting and management practices on the part of religious organizations and their clergy. He is a Board Member and former President of the Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference. Wayne is the author of Income Taxes for Priest Only, a nationally recognized tax manual for priests for the past 20 years, the Tax Manual for Deacons, and a monthly column in The Priest magazine, published by Our Sunday Visitor. He has also written articles for many other publications — including Touchstone (published by the National Federation of Priests’ Councils), the Herald (published by the Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference), and Deacon Digest. He is a popular lecturer on the subjects of priests’ income taxes and retirement planning. Dr. Lenell serves as Director for Financial and Administrative Services for the Catholic Diocese of Rockford (IL). He began his career in public accounting — first with an international CPA firm, and then in private practice focusing on religious organizations. For the past 25 years he has served the Rockford Diocese. A passionate student and teacher of his craft, he has also served as an adjunct faculty member of six colleges and universities.
