- Leadership by the Book: Tools to Transform Your Workplace (1999) by Ken Blanchard, Bill Hybels and Phil Hodges — Here a nationally-prominent Protestant clergyman, Hybels, teams up with Lead Like Jesus co-founders Blanchard and Hodges to present a generic Christian parable about a man who learns what it means to be a servant leader. Done very much in the vein of The One Minute Manager, Blanchard’s parable that has become the best-selling business book ever.
